Today we are posting another one of our most used pizza sauces for a basic white pie. We’ll refer to it in later pizza recipes, but no need to wait because you can use this garlic oil on almost anything. We’ve dressed up pasta, seafood, cooked veggies and bread with it, and we’re sure once you taste it you’ll find lots of other uses for it as well!
This recipe comes together in just a few minutes and will keep in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks. We doubt it will hang around that long once you see how delicious and versatile it is though!
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp minced fresh garlic
- 2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks

This stuff is fantastic! I drizzled a little of it on every Pizza that came out of my WFO last week. It really rounded out the flavor

This was amazing! Put it on one of the frozen crusts from Trader Joe’s (I know, I suck) with some mozzerella, Parmesan, artichokes, mushrooms, and arugula and holy cow it was the best pizza I’ve ever made at home. I love white pies and this was no exception.

Finally got around to experimenting with “grilling” a pizza. I got a bit liberal with the garlic and Parmesan cheese…
It freaking kicked a$$!!!

SO delicious!! I could put this stuff on everything. When making again tonight for steak flatbreads, I realized we didn’t have EVOO so I used butter instead and it was fantastic!!! Thank you!

Best sauce!!! Cheating tonight and using dried minced garlic. Let you know how it works out. Use its as white sauce, then a base for red sauce. I use gluten free and Dairy free cheese. It Yummy…..

I like olive oil, garlic, Parmesan cheese, olives and jalapeños and grape tomatoes. No red sauce. I guess this is considered foccacia. Love it.
Diane Livingston says
Can I make a big batch and freeze it?
Matthew Sevigny says
I don’t recommend freezing this because of the oil component.
